On the waterfront side of Çırağan Caddesi, on Yalı Sokak. Where the Bosphorus narrows between Beşiktaş and Ortaköy — an evening turned toward the water.

On Yalı Sokak, on the plot that drops toward the water. The room looks out at one of the narrowest points of the strait, and the whole layout is set to that direction.

The kitchen rests on two legs: the day's seafood and a line of olive-oil meze. The stage programme runs every evening — the music booth, a dancer and a darbuka player enter in turn on the same night. The door opens in the morning and dinner service runs past midnight; the tables are not arranged around the programme so much as the programme around the tables.

The address is the portfolio's most layered artery: over the years a club, a terrace, a garden and a counter all ran as separate brands at the same street number. This brand is that chain's present link, tied to the holding through partnership. With the club on the adjoining plot taking on the last stretch of the night, the two share the street's programme from dusk to dawn.
