Club Abiye

The club run at the holding's Yalı Sokak address — a door that changed names several times over the years.

The club and restaurant that ran on the salon floor of the building on the street. Its frontage turned to the water and the layout was built around the view.

The menu followed the traditional Turkish line and the room was fitted out as sleek and modern; well-known singers appeared with their orchestras. The programme was built on live music rather than recorded.

The terrace above ran as a separate brand off the same telephone number — so the two were not consecutive but simultaneous: one building, two floors, two names, two programmes in a single night. It carried enough visibility to keep a press section on its own website. It no longer operates.
