Makara Club

One of the first places to carry the Makara name, from the holding's early years in the city's nightlife.

The link that followed once the acquired venue reopened under a new name. It worked as one name, one programme, one room.

A room in Beşiktaş belonging to the first generation on the portfolio's night side. The programme thickened after midnight and the room was used as a single space — the floor-by-floor arrangement of later generations did not yet exist.

In the next generation the same building split into two floors, a restaurant below and a club above. The salon and the roof then became brands of their own. The portfolio's method of branding a single address floor by floor was learned here and later repeated at the waterside house in Bebek.
