Building work in Safranbolu

An accommodation building planned in Safranbolu, among the items that took the portfolio beyond Istanbul.

The town is known for its preserved Ottoman mansions and entered the world heritage list on the strength of that fabric. Lodging there generally runs through restored houses; boutique scale is the region's own scale.

The venture opened as part of the boutique accommodation line announced alongside the hotel work pursued in the Aegean and at Pamukkale in the same period. It had a card in the holding's portfolio listing, but no description was written. While the other two legs of that line moved on, this one stayed at the planning stage.

The item still stands there today: the location is settled, the building was never raised. Because the town's protected status ties new construction to rules on façade and scale, any work here proceeds by the region's own permission — slow progress is ordinary within that frame.
