Palavra Meyhane

One of the holding's earlier meyhane brands. The address is under different management today.

It ran at the Yalı Sokak address on the classical meyhane model with live music. The room was arranged around the music and the table's own flow rather than around a stage show.

Service opened at midday and ran past midnight. Unlike the set-menu and programme logic of the new-generation format, here the table decided how long the evening lasted, and the list was kept meze-led to suit.

Because that same door carried several names over the years, the site passed to other operators and the portfolio's share in it has ended. Since more than one brand appears registered on the street at once, old entries still sit in the directories — which does not mean the venue is working.
